Steve Sandoval, a California native, grew up listening to L.A. AM radio in the sixties. But he got hip to L.A. FM radio in the seventies. He's been singing since the age of fourteen; initially in the shower, later in high school and college...though he still loves singing in the shower. In the last few years he's been gigging in L.A. and Orange County, singing with bands doing popular and classic rock and r&b. Counted as his influences are Big Joe Turner, Eric Burdon, Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder, Darryl Hall, Paul McCartney, Maynard James Keenan, Donald Fagan, and Billy Joel among others. During the day, Steve produces television sitcoms to pay the bills, and he sings to satisfy his soul. Sometimes, we even get him out of the shower!
