Jeff grew up in West Los Angeles and started playing drums when he was 8. He's played all styles of music but his real love is the GROOVE. So it's not hard to understand why he counts the music of James Brown, Tower of Power and similar funk groups as his favorites.

In his earlier musical endeavors, Jeff played in a variety of bands in the L.A. area. He was one of two dual drummers with a top L.A. band Maiden Head. He also played with another band called City Beat, some of whose original recordings were warmly recieved on the airwaves here in L.A.
